I think it sucks that there's such a division in R# users, with the old-timers preferring the IntelliJ keyboard shortcuts and the newcomers usually adopting the VS ones. That almost makes it worth to have two versions of each of those videos (if yo can find someone that can navigate with both shortcut vocabularies)

@Sergio,

I agree that it is painful.  If anyone that knows the VS layout wants to submit an episode they can.  Sadly i only know the IntelliJ layout (at least well enough to do an episode)

Am I the only one seeing this in extremely blurred, 8-bit color?

Requesting VS Layout Video! I am not going to change my keyboard layout just for R#. Please do VS Layout video if you can :).

I am evaluating R# against others. And will buy one based on how much productivity gains I can make. Switching to some java based keyboard layout is not a possiblity. VS Layout video can help me.

@Parag,

You do not need to change your entire keyboard layout to use the IntelliJ layout.  There are 2 layouts.  THe VS one just uses different key commands.

Most documentation and webcasts seem to use the IntelliJ hotkys.  JetBrains has a PDF for IntelliJ hotkeys and a PDF for VS hotkeys.  I found I needed to cut & paste my own version that put them together so that I could easily translate what I was reading/seeing (IntelliJ) into the keystrokes that I am using (VS).

I think that the most important feature is the "navigate from here" function. You'll see all possible ways to navigate from where you are as well as the associated hot keys. If you use any function often enough, you'll learn the hot key.
